Footprint Underwriting DAC has announced that it has ceased trading with immediate effect, as confirmed in a communication issued on 2 January 2026 by Managing Director Simon Richards.

As a product provider for a number of policies previously distributed through Footprint Underwriting DAC, ARAG would like to reassure all affected policyholders about the status of their cover.

All active and fully paid policies at the date Footprint Underwriting DAC ceased trading remain in force. ARAG will continue to honour these policies in full, in line with the terms, conditions and policy documentation originally issued.

The cessation of trading by Footprint Underwriting DAC does not affect the validity of the cover provided, nor does it alter ARAG’s contractual obligations to policyholders. Customers who hold active policies can continue to rely on their cover exactly as before.
